Aims and objectives

ABSA aims to develop the capacity of building professionals to understand, analyse and improve the sustainability of our built environment.

The objectives of the association include:

accrediting Assessors to conduct building sustainability assessments;
providing professional development and other support services for Accredited Assessors; and
contributing to the development of National policies and regulations in the area of building sustainability.
