ABSA Board

The current ABSA Board’s makeup and structure is one of a transitional Board that reflects a new order while providing a link to the old. Recent changes resulted in six members of the previous Board resigning and five members staying on.

Three of the five remaining members are active Assessors; Wayne Floyd (current President), Michael Plunkett and Eddie Roe. The other two are Bill Burns and Tone Wheeler, both industry identities. Three new Board members were appointed to the new Board: Jonathon Casson, Jennifer Johanson, and Lyn Bienat. One position remains vacant.

This Board covers four States and collectively has skills in:

  • building sustainability assessment (covering both Accreditation Schemes)
  • law
  • governance
  • accounting and auditing
  • risk management
  • business and marketing.

The table below presents a short bio of each person.

Elections will be held in 2010 under the conditions contained in the new Constitution.
